Meet the Crew

Sam Stinnett | Instructor

Sam is an active Firefighter Paramedic, serving Orange County, CA. He began his career as an EMT at Lifeline Ambulance and then at Downey Fire Department. From here, he was hired as a Firefighter with OCFA, got sponsored by the department to go to paramedic school at UCLA, and then returned in his current role as a Firefighter Paramedic. He runs dozens of 911 calls a day, ranging from fires to medical emergencies to saving kittens from car engines.

While watching the confusion of bystanders on his 911 calls, feeling the fear of fellow parents who say they wouldn’t know what to do if their child needed help, and hearing stories from friends who watched sudden emergencies happen in their normal 9-5 jobs, Sam realized how many people didn’t have the knowledge to save lives if they were ever put in that unfortunate situation.

He wanted to change that. Now he is!

Sam created Coastline CPR to empower regular people to perform heroic acts. He believes that with proper knowledge and training, anyone can save lives. Including you.

Frances Stinnett | Operations

Frances is Sam’s wife and mother to his two daughters. She has been cheering Sam on since before he started his career as a first responder and has learned so much from him along the way!

Because Sam is on active duty, he is sometimes not available for immediate communication. This is where Frances steps in!

She helps Coastline CPR with back end operations, scheduling, communications, outreach, social media, and more.
